Neil Gaiman won the Best Novel Hugo for American Gods.
His acceptance speech was the usual "thank you"s, but at the end of the speech he paused, he looked at the rocket like it was the first time he REALY saw it, and said:
"Fuck, I won a Hugo!"

I so wanted to put that in the newsletter. Did you notice that he looked exactly like you'd expect him to look from his books?
Best speech of the night award had to go to Robert Silverberg. I could barely take nots I was laughing so hard.

I ran out of video tape (DAMN, DAMN, DAMN) and didn't get it.
I was however using the zoom trying to find Connie to see how much she was squriming.
