It's finally happened, after many years of financial hardship, KTEH gives in to the big boy on the block.

There is something troubling about this. I seem to recall KQED being forced to sell off their stake in Channel 32 (then KQEC, now KMTP, featuring the best of Deutche Welle TV and the ARTS free filler channel). I don't recall the reasoning or circumstances behind that, and it probably won't be a problem given current broadcasting regulations. Still, I really have no idea.
