chriso's Surgeon.
Pathology reports the additional tissue removed during the 2nd operation was cancer free.
WHOOT!!!!!!
However, because the first biopsy came back pre cancerous,chriso will be on the "Visit Oncology every 6 months for 5 years" and has to get a mammogram every year (she was on the 2 year cycle).
She comes back to the Surgeon in 6 months for follow-up to check on the long term healing as well.

Date: 2004-08-10 06:54 am (UTC)Those continuing doctor visits are a pain though, you have to get it all back into your head every few months. It's been 3 years since my pre-cancerous find and I still go to the gynecologist every 3 months to hear "no, it's still not gone"
