Results are NEGATIVE!!!!
Aug. 9th, 2004 12:16 pmJust returned from the follow-up appointment with
chriso's Surgeon.
Pathology reports the additional tissue removed during the 2nd operation was cancer free.
WHOOT!!!!!!
However, because the first biopsy came back pre cancerous,
chriso will be on the "Visit Oncology every 6 months for 5 years" and has to get a mammogram every year (she was on the 2 year cycle).
She comes back to the Surgeon in 6 months for follow-up to check on the long term healing as well.

Date: 2004-08-09 07:39 pm (UTC)A couple of years ago, Mrs. Trogula and I had a breast cancer scare that was, fortunately, not. I can't begin to describe the fear and anxiety I went through in that trial.
