A transvestite is a someone who is dressed as the opposite gender.

If you are naked, you can't be dressed as the opposite gender.

In addition, I would imagine the "transvestite" was in fact dressed in women's clothing when he entered the house, which was the distinguishing point of the incident.

What if you don't view the concept of being a transvestite as a matter of personal identification? If you do it that way, then the person could be a self identified transvestite no matter what they were wearing.
