(no subject)

So will Poly Star Trek fans start calling themselves "Denobulans" now?

Reference this week's episode of Enterprise.
Though the summary does not address the sub-plot with Trip, Feezal & Dr. Phlox

I miss Enterprise. :/ (We can't get any real reception without cable.)

Feezal who is Dr. Phlox's #2 wife, who arrives on Enterprise to install a new fancy microscope.

She works closely with Trip installing it. Quickly making it obvious that she is interested in Trip.

Trip is attracted to her, but flustered by her being married to Phlox.

Meanwhile Phlox and Feezal are swapping news about their other spouses and their other spouses and their other spouses....
(thus my original post)

Trip finally admits to Phlox he's interested. Phlox congratulates him on catching the interest of Feezal... Has she offered you a rose petal bath yet?...

Trip is even more rattled by this encouragement and says he can't do anything with someone else's wife. Phlox laughs it off as silly human morals.

Episode ends with Feezal and Phlox promising to get back together sooner then every 4 years. Feezal says Phlox should bring Trip along.

Trip claims the Warp Plasma is running hot and leaves.

Feezal and Phlox smile knowingly at each other.

I don't know where the writers are digging up their info on non-destructive polyamory, but I applaud them for it. Everytime they've referenced Denobulan relationships they have never done a "point & stare" deal with it.

Also, Feezal is a hottie.{
