Gone for a week
Feb. 15th, 2002 12:59 amPosting now, as I don't know if I'll have a chance from work tomorrow.
Packing done, tickets stashed in backpack, after work we are hopping a plan for Las Vegas. Going to see some shows, visit the damn and lake, take in the other sites and do a little gambling for fun.

Re: Clandestine
Date: 2002-02-22 07:39 pm (UTC)I wore it last week (before the LV trip) cause, we missed all their SF Bay Area gigs. AGAIN!!!
Our only chance to see them would have been Thursday in Ben Lomend, but aside from being a "school night", it was our packing night.
Last we were able to see them was at the SF Celtic festival 2 years ago.
Looking forward to seeing them again.
Re: Clandestine
Date: 2002-02-23 09:39 am (UTC)They are going to Camarillo, CA (near Santa Barbara) for an all-day gig at the Celtic festival in early April.
I have all of their albums, as far as I know, as well as Jan Haines' "A Fine Small Storm".
"A Miner's Lullaby" is a wonderfully beautiful, evocative, and sad piece.
I don't know about going to Camarillo in April, however -- the brutal winters there -- it's probably going to be in the 70's with low humidity. Tough.
