"The Laramie Project"
Jan. 10th, 2003 12:55 pmLast night I watched the last half of the HBO movie version of the TLP.
Lots of star power, great acting, casting of folks in parts they were born to play.
But you know, the students of Newark Memorial High School did a better show, a more moving show, a more touching show.
Maybe it's the difference between live theatre and TV?
Maybe it's the events leading up TLP in Newark that gave it more edge?
Maybe it's because I know several of the members of the NMHS cast?
Or maybe, just maybe, despite the star power of HBO's version, the kids were much better actors?
Just a thought.
