Find your own.
Economic Left/Right: -0.88
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.56
My capitalistic tendencies balance out my social justice tendancies quite well.
However, my distrust of my fellow human beings running the government and corporatons, drives me far into the Libertarian/ Anarchist end of the scale. Unfortuantly the Anarchists scare the hell out of me (I do not want to live in a village sized social unit) and Libertarians usually strike me as self-centered a**holes.

Date: 2002-07-01 07:30 pm (UTC)As for the attitude expressed by many anarchists and libertarians, I find that all philosophies attract loudmouth loonies. I will never forget the far-left liberal I knew who defended the concept of white guilt as a valid approach to me. Not an easy sell to someone who's aware of the history of Irish America (allowing for the sad fact of the Irish treatment of blacks in a stunning display of pecking order establishment syndrome).
Just a few thoughts from a self-identified and test-verified left-wing libertarian.
