I actually like the new opening method better. I have a ton of tabs open as a general rule. And so having the new one open right there, means I don't have to go running around looking for the tab that started the latest ramble.

I can see why many folks would like it.

However, my style is to "park" 3-4 starter tabs and build off of them.

For example I have my LJ/FB/Twitter tabs as my starters and add more tabs as find threads and topics I want to read or comment on later.
