Nope, it's just that whenever the "It's My Journal Damnit" Meme has made the rounds before, I sort of ignored it. As I rarely posted and when I did start posting it was really light stuff.* So putting a disclaimer on my journal was not needed.
Recently I've started to put real meat in the ocassional journal entry. As they touch emotional, sexual or even (a line I haven't crossed yet)political content, I felt the need set the disclaimer.
* June 2000, joined LJ just read a couple of friend's journals. I soon found out about communities. Dec 2001 I finally posted something when folks started asking me why I didn't have any entries. June 2002 Now I have 200+ friends and post somthing almost daily.
