Some years I love KFOG Summer Picnics, but those are both artists I'd not only rather see in clubs, but I can't see spending more than $12 each on.
Remember when Chris played the I-Beam every single night for something like five weeks?

Yay, go you! :)
17 July, They Might Be Giants at the Fillmore
I might have to find out whether tickets are still available.
17&18 Aug, AANR Convention at Laguna del Sol
A couple of years ago, I found out they don't allow genital piercings, which vaguely squicked me. I don't have any, and don't want any, but I didn't like the reason I got, that it draws unnecessary attention to the genitals. But they don't mind pubic shaving, and that does, too. Since then, I haven't wanted to go there.
28 Aug to Sep 3, ConJosé (extra days cause we're staff)
I wanted to go for awhile, but less so, lately.
If I throw another party here, I should invite you. I spose you live close. ;)
Re:
TMBG still have tickets available. I checked Wed, but not Tue.
ConJose will probably not be the greatest of Worldcons, but it will not be a failure or boring. (Hows that for a backhanded compliment?)
We've been to LdS only once before and didn't hear anything like that, but we also didn't notice anyone with noticible piercings either. Lupin on the on the other hand has no restrictions. We've seen folks with radical piercings and large tats. Also, restrictions such as no-piercings are being enforced less and less as (at least at larger clubs) the population is starting (if slowly) to swing towards a younger more accepting age group.
Deja Vu, yep you've mentioned before, as have I, we both live in Fremont.
If we find enough time this Summer to truely clean up the back yard, the pool areas, the interier of the house, etc, etc, we might possibly probably maybe consider hosting a party in Sept. But even the consideration is tentitive at this time.
No such luck
Shoot. I'll be at Anime Expo. I can be had for a meal on your way home, though.
Re: No such luck
So popping over and visiting AnimeExpo is not in the plans.

Re:
To enjoy the time, to relax, to get to the beach more often, get to lupin more often, take long weekend drives.
But we always end up over commiting ourselves. The closest we get is making sure we don't have all day activities on both Sat & Sun.
