Ohh my Your one of those people, are you also a morning person? if you are we will have to break it off and return the wedding gifts.
I was spoiled I spent most of my summers till I was 14 in st Johns Newfoundland, Canada. I dont do heat great and my baby blues need to be protected by sunglasses all the time.
But I do like the summer. The smells, the feel of the warm breeze on bare skin, Swimming on summer nights, BBQ and fresh fruit.
Otherwise, yes I am a bring on the heat type person. I'm very much a cold wuss. Anything under 70 has me shivering.
I loved my time in Australia 100, 110, 120, wonderful. Just give me a breeze to blow the sweat off and a pool to cool off in occasionally and I'm a happy camper.
I hate wearing clothes and the summer gives me the excuse to be in public with only shorts and a light top. None at home, the beach or Lupin.
We need a less rustic CO club in the SF Bay Area to move to. Laguna del Sol is too far away.
The skimpily clothed cuties are one of the only things I consider to be worth suffering in the heat. You can have the over-70 temps all year if you want. Give me the fog and cool nights where a light blanket's a good idea because turning on the heater is overkill but a mere top sheet's insufficient.
My legs have never tanned in my life. Even when I was living in San Jose and wearing shorts and skirts almost exclusively between Easter and Halloween. They've burned twice that I can recall - and then only in patches.
Believe you me, I'd love it if my legs would even pick up as much color as my forearms do...I just don't know if it's possible.
But I LIKE being pale!!! I am one of three TRULY Anti-Tannists here in California. The only tan I have is my driver's tan on my forearms. Besides, staying out of the sun keeps the color on my tattoos looking purty....

And you know what? After a morning full of sun, sun, and more sun, I welcomed the change.
(It's amazing how thoroughly I've acclimated to SF in only five years, after living my entire life south of Highway 92.)

Twain was right, the coldest winter I ever had was a summer in SF.
