I has a new Drum!!!

ETA1:

Yes, I built it myself.

5 gallon wine cask.
Soak in water for 6 weeks.
Then dry for 6 weeks.
Cut, sand, biscuit, and glue back together.
Grind excess glue and sand smooth.
Stain and more sanding (to fix a bad stain job) and re-stain.
Multiple coats of polyurethane.
Soak & Stretch and soak & stretch again, then tack.
Then do the other end.

Hopefully it will be dried enough to play on Sunday at the taiko workshop at Consonance

Having seen and Heard the drum at Consonance, it is indeed a wonderful drum.
Very Very Nice. You are an excellent drum maker and drum player and teacher. It was a great Workshop.
