My first Eye-Fi worked once then was unreadable after I downloaded the pics off the card.

My replacement Eye-Fi also worked only once, then was unreadable, without ever leaving the camera.

Amazon just notified me they are not replacing it, as my issue is wide spread.

They are already processing my refund and will credit my account as soon as they receive the device back.

FWIW, it's nice to know that you weren't the only one that was affected.

How does something that just blatantly doesn't work, ever get sold to begin with?
Glad you're getting your money back, tho.

Typically it means the testing paradigm was wrong or that the test budget was to small ("Well, gee, it worked on the 3 camera's we tested.")

Or they went with a decent manufacturer for the pre-production runs, then went super cheap with the production run.

Dammit. There goes the ONE THING I was going to ask for for Christmas this year. Thanks for being the Guinea Pig. I guess I will just invest in more Resin Babies... Hopefully they will get this squared away, it really is a neat idea, that just needs tweaks. Like the Digital Photo Frame I was thinking of getting my Ma... They seem to be flighty as well...

We tried a photo frame a couple of years ago and fried it fairly quickly. (They meant it, about powering it down before inserting or removing the memory card.)

They've been getting better reviews now and they are much larger.

The thing I wish was around a few years ago is the HP Presto, it would have been perfect for my Mom.
