Trick-or-Treat Report...

We worried it would be a slow night,
when our first trick-or-treater showed up at 7:20.

We didn't have to worry about it being slow.

Our total was 121 kids this year,
with the last one at 9:20pm

Kids love coming to our house.
and not just for the candy.

Even though we gave out nearly 400 pieces.

We have lots of decorations,
including the ever popular flying bat.

Thought for the night:

If you're old enough to have enough cleavage on display to store candy in, you may be old enough to stop trick-or-treating.

Wow, shows you the difference between my place and yours. And we decorate, but it's probably the stairs that kill the kids. We had eight.

There is no such thing. Although I will admit I'm a little less lenient on costume quality on the over-20 crowd.

I must confess, I haven't handed out candy for several years; I get home so late that they've stopped well before I get there. (Our neighborhood stops by 7, or 7:30 at the latest.)

You're never too old to trick or treat. I went trick or treating with a few people including Scabrous Dragon.

People seemed to love us.

Observation: Here at MS parents bring the munchkins in to trick or treat in the halls.
Unloved candy of the year? tootsie rolls. Everything else is gone this morning but there are many batches of tootsie rolls left.

Honey -- you'd be surprised how early they start showing cleavage. Chip's birthmonth mates are entering puberty (Geez I hope it's still a few years off for him). We dump hormones in everything from meat to milk, and then wonder why girls can get pregnant at 10 - GEEZ
