....here we go again... little thump then a bit of shake & rattle.

Cats didn't forewarn. They did wake up and look at me accusingly, as though I caused it.

USGS says:

5 miles NNE of Alum Rock, CA
OCT 31 2007 15:54:25 PDT
37.43 -121.78
3.7

Even though I'm only 5-7 miles from the epi, I rated it as less then 2, maybe even just 1.5.

Yea, the last 3.7 that rolled through here I felt and I didn't feel that one at all. I usually feel *any* 3 in the area.

Ok I wasn't nuts or it wasn't me walking heavily across the floor.

The bakers rack with the pots and pans rattled and thought it was just
me.

I was in a relatively quiet room on the second floor. The folks in the computer room on the first floor (with loud AC) didn't notice.

I felt it pretty solidly here fifteen miles from the epicenter. Distinct and noticeable, and [livejournal.com profile] littlemissstoli didn't warn me either.

James said "hmm looks like one of the statues is out of alignment."

So a 3.7 at shortly before 4.
