It was perfect, though...after it all, he was still a little Columbine wanna-be, a lttle twerp ready to throw a tantrum because he is to be RECKONED WITH. Tara was a mistake, typical of his sloppy half-assed approach throughout the geek-squads existence.
Thought: Buffy may not be able to die. It woul be an interesting side effect to coming back, and one that will REALLY piss her off. Yank her from heaven, and she CAN'T go back.
The Spke thing...no, he wasn't going for the throat. He was trying to reignite the passion that was evident the night they, well, brought down the house. It was violent need on both their parts. While Spike was way over the line, the issue is how fuzzy the damn line was to begin with. Buffy, by playing the game of saying "no" until she said yes, established an unhealthy pattern. Fortunately, Spike realized his error BEFORE going further, which (in her sore state) he might have suceeded at doing.
At one point I was certain he would reach into his own head with his bear fingers to pull out that chip. He might be determined to prove that his feelings are NOT generated by the chip, but I suspect it's removal will not change them.
Willow may have gone WAY over the bend. Warren can't run fast enough. Literally. That it was an accident will only make it worse for him.

I couldn't say I would blame Willow.
