No dramatic changes.

I didn't get sleepy at work until after 4pm and I was doing something really really boring.

No nasal clogging, but I did have a bit of drying out.

I did the nasal wash last night and this morning, to avoid most of the drying out.
That also probably took care of the clogging issues some folks warned me about.

However, I did have issues all day long with sudden draining of fluids, even during Taiko class tonight.

I had minor issues with air leakage to my eyes, but no whistling.

[livejournal.com profile] chriso was not bothered by the noise. We have air filter in the room, that makes a similar noise.
She did hear some light snoring, but I'm on the variable pressure training machine this week.

I woke up a few times in the night. I think mainly from the mask slipping when I rolled over.

I did end up taking it off after around 4-5 hours, as it had slipped enough to dig into my cheek and I couldn't get it back to fitting right.

They had warned us that pets are often freaked out at first. When I first put on the mask, Autumn just looked at me funny then butted my hand for pets.
She was only irritated by the sound of the airflow before I put the mask on.

I had a dog once that got freaked out over a "self-filling" water bowl. (It made noises when the reserve emptied.) We had to give it away; he couldn't get over it.

I'm just glad YOU didn't freak out. That's the important bit, yes?

It's a good thing when pets fail to react in a negative fashion. I've been treated to the second dog in a row who seems to be "seismically impaired" and doesn't seem to react much to earthquakes. So much for "animals know in advance".

Sleep sweet!

Does yours have a built in humidifier? we have very low humidity where we live, so it's a must in the one hubbyass uses.

When Patrick and I were dating he would spend the weekend at my place and bring his C-pap with him. Vicky, my cat, who adores Patrick but is paranoid as hell figured out pretty quick that his new daddy slept with a hissing snake on his nose and got used to it in record time. The funny thing is that on Sunday nights when Patrick would pack up his machine and go back to where he lived at the time, Vicky would get angry at me, sitting on the nightstand where the machine had been and glaring at me. He seemed to think that somehow it was my fault that daddy left and took his snake with him. Needless to say, Vicky was thrilled when daddy and the snake moved in permanently. I honestly thought the machine would bother him more than it did, but maybe since he was introduced to it as just part of sleeping in the bed with Patrick, he decided that all daddies come with the hissy snake extension when they sleep. On the rare nights when Patrick forgets to hose up, he tends to snore a lot and he also tosses and turns like a beached fish. The cats and I are grateful for the snake.
