I see my Black Fleet ribbon made the Johno hit parade, I am very honored to see that BF-SPG be included with the others.
Sorry to say that I had run out of ribbons by early Saturday morning. To hear the convention attendees wail, truly saddened my heart. I'll have to get twice that number for next year.

I've always hated that Orycon doesn't do ribbons. Sure, the ConCom and staff get full length ribbons, but there's never been the long strip of ribbony mayhem available.

bovil made the suggestion of ironing your ribbons, to melt the glue together. Haven't tried it yet, but one of my party co-hosts did and it seemed to work fairly well.

I happened to be working on a crafty project in my friend's room, and my ribbons kept falling off. Well there was the white glue in my hand and wallah! That took care of the ones that didn't stick well. The others did fine. I did not nearly have a string as long as John O. He was quite impressive. It is a strange fannish trend now that we can compare the length of our ribbons!

I only asked 5 times for ribbons, all of mine came from direct gives or in trade when I gave one to somebody.

Now that I think about it, in a con filled with masterly costumers, you would think someone would have loaded up a spindle & bobbin with clear thread and set up shop somewhere. Quicker & easier than staples, less messy than glue, stronger than tape.
