I'd be really sorry if that is the *only* reason you won't consider attending.

We have a good contract with the DT, and the culture at Costume-Con is unlike any other convention you've ever attended, I can promise.

I went to one 10 years ago, and it was not that great. It was also the San Jose area. There are too many conventions all the same Double Tree. It's so far for me to drive there. And so expensive to either stay over night or drive, I don't like staying over night.
