re: St. Patrick's Day.

Just a couple of quick comments.

1) I do enjoy the music and festivities of the day, but I only attend them every 2-3 years.

The crowds are far to big, loud and rowdy for me to enjoy the festivities.


2) My name is O'Halloran, I have no need to wear wear green to prove that I'm irish.


3) I love celtic music, but not what most folks call "irish" music.

Another reason I usually avoid the wearing of the green and pubs is because St. Patrick wasn't terribly good for celtic culture or spirituality. However, tonight I'm making an exception since Dave Nachmanoff (http://www.davenach.com/calendar.html)is doing a celtic concert at a pub in Winters that makes good cornbeef and cabbage. A friend and I are heading up for that.
