re: St. Patrick's Day.
Mar. 17th, 2007 01:37 amJust a couple of quick comments.
1) I do enjoy the music and festivities of the day, but I only attend them every 2-3 years.
The crowds are far to big, loud and rowdy for me to enjoy the festivities.
2) My name is O'Halloran, I have no need to wear wear green to prove that I'm irish.
3) I love celtic music, but not what most folks call "irish" music.

I have no need to wear green to prove that I'm 75% Irish -- and I have NO need to drink green beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight, lamb chops, braised root veggies, and colcannon - how else can I get cabbage into the kiddies.
3) I love celtic music AND Irish music - at least if we're talking the "drinking song" genre. (Me father was orange, me mother was green).
