The weekend that wasn't....

...and the week that nearly got sucked away as well.

I did my time sheet today. 73 hours this work week.

I was woken up on Saturday morning at 8:30am, with a frantic call that started with "$central-mail-switch has failed, we have 1 million messages backed up."

Long story, short version. 6on-6off for 3 days to fix and clear the backlogs. including a full 24 hours of no mail moving. Therefore several of the 6-6s were really 8-4s or 10-2s.

Oh my -- is it all fixed now? I say hit the hot tub and stay there for a bit. Follow this up with a nap. Repeat as needed. There, that's my Rx.
