There was VERY pregnant young lady at Loscon showing anybody who would look, the ultrasound prints of her twin boys.

Pearl's (IIRC) crash and burn in the ConSuite, which required paramedic attention. With V telling Kris & Tadao, that they didn't know how to take care of P, when in K&T's opinion it was V & Crew's fault for letting P go so far before asking for help.

Ed and other Concom were dealing with Hotel & Paramedics and trying to contact P's mother. Other Concom/staff were not present or burned out from the con. So I stepped in and played "door". Ticking off V because I wouldn't let her & crew in at some point.

After P had recovered and K&T gathered all the ducklings, I had to sit down for a while. I was chatting with K's husband who was lamenting having to wait for Ks return. Someone else chimed in with "You knew the job was difficult when you married her." I asked if K was the local fannish "Mom" to the teens.

He nodded and said "It went so far as people were congratulating him on being a Granddad" because M was their house so much. Which led us to discussing M and how how she was even tinier before the pregnancy (I had asked how someone so thin, could be SO pregnant.) and that she sort of hoped the babies came before her 20th birthday, so she could claim to be a "teen mom" etc, etc

Ah, yes. I spend a fair bit of time with Pearl and her family, so I'm intimately familiar with her condition. I wasn't personally present, but from what I heard, the attack she had Sunday night wasn't very much worse than the episodes she has several times a week; it's just that usually there are people who know what's going on around, so we don't freak out much.

Yeah, momma Kris is everyone's mom in LA and San Diego. To the point where I call her Momma Kris WAY more than just Kris, or Kris Bauer.

And yes, Mariel was even tinier pre-pregnancy. It's looking like she will be delivering before her 20th; her birthday is 2/8, and her due date is early-mid february. With as tiny as she is, and the fact that she's carrying twins, it's very likely she'll be delivering in mid-to-late january.
