Gallery seems to be a really nifty program ... I even got it runnning. Now if I could only find out how to get the remote upload thingy to run as well, all would be fine. sigh :)

It seems to hate large files, full sized test photos (2-3mb) choked it. Smaller web sized (80-300k) work fine.

Otherwise, it worked out the zip for me. Your milage is obviously varying.

Don't you use your digicam with flash on the Avalon Raising photos? Interesting that they still come out orange.

Nope. Most were available light.

Unfortunatly many of the stage spots had red gels.

I adore Gallery! I got 100+ photos of my sister's wedding online before the professional photographer. Enabling printing through Shutterfly made the prints an order of magnitude cheaper too, at 29c vs. $5 for 4x6" prints. My sister was so impressed she asked why I hadn't invested in a better camera yet. She doesn't quite understand that I need a steady job to afford a Canon EOS 20D and preschool programs around here won't take a four-year-old that's not mostly potty-trained. I hope to get one next year.

I'll keep your hosting recommendation in mind. My folks would be happy to stop using my space for the family business website and I'd be happy to send them to a hosting service that comes recommended. (:
