Our thought too when we first saw the season listing...

You mean I'm not the only person left in the world who likes musical theatre? I'm shocked!

[livejournal.com profile] gdmusumeci hates musicals, which probably hasn't been helped by me making him watch "Music Man" and "Grease" and things on television.

Stage 1's production of Grease opens tonight.

$15 in advance, $18 at the door.

It's probably a bit far, but I'll have to look into it. (There's a train, right? :P)

PS: Remember to send me a resume with a focus on your anti-spam work at AOL.

Right. It's even in my con report that I need to do that. The easiest way is to get it here, but since I've got it under review with a bunch of people, there'll probably be a new version I can e-mail you soonish.

I suck at writing resumes.

If you want, I can give it a review (next week, busy day today and busier weekend) as well.

I spoke with my contact at Proofpoint, they are in need of Entry Level support folks.

Don't... expand... your experience, but definitly punch up your support and anti-spam duties.

http://www.proofpoint.com is the fully buzzword compliant web site. Which is what their support folks call it.

Oh.... those sound like soooo fun. I've always wanted to see Cats live. And I've seen Chicago the movie, but now I want to see the theater version. I'm a fan of Billy Joel. You are one very lucky person. I envy you. ;)

We bit the bullet last year and got season passes and loved all the shows (even the ones we were unsure about.) This year was even more expensive, for even more shows (several are only 1-week runs), but even more show that we want to see.

Newark Memorial Drama did Chicago last year and it was great fun. Even if I was going "I know her, she's only {mumble}, I shouldn't be looking at her doing *those* dance moves..."

This will be the 4th time I've Cats. I love the show and the costumes & make-up are wonderful.

AMTSJ does many many discount and student programs. You may to contact them to see if you qualify for any of them.

And if you want to help out with any of the Stage 1 Productions, I can get you in contact with our volunteer coordinator.

That sounds wonderful. I look forward ot seeing your posts as you see the shows.

Ditto the wonder that Cathy Rigby's still doing Peter Pan and much envy re Carole King, she's been one of my favorite songwriters since I was a wee little burrito.
