It's official "I R a programmer"

Latest reorg was a wash for me, except for the title change.

I was a:

Senior Multi Systems Engineer ("What the hell is that?" my Directer asked my Manager."

I am now a:

Senior Systems Programmer

Same work, Engineering, but no coding (lucky for them.)

I still get to introduce myself as "Senior Messaging Engineer" as that's what I really do.

heh. I can think of a couple of jobs where hugs might be billable - in Nevada :-)

If California were smart enough to legalize, regulate, and tax prostitution and (most) drugs, the budget problem would pretty much go away. That's my not-so-humble opinion.

oh, I dunno. imagine the growth of the bureaucracy needed to regulate, license, and enforce the rules. I am sure the state government would find a way to turn that into a budget hole. they're good at that.
