...but you knew that. {rim shot!}

We are off for 4 days of camping at Laguna del Sol for the Western Naturist Gathering.

Sun, Fun and Relaxation.

We need this.

Not taking the laptop, so I'll be back online Sunday night or sometime Monday.

Oh we are by no means roughing it.

Lots of padding to sleep on.

Good sleeping bags.

Big tent.

Full service restaurant.

3 pools.

3 hot tubs.

A river

A club house with dance floor for the evening revelry.

And when we get bored of that, we can go to workshops and panels.

Runs all weekend. Hop a commuter flight. ;)

Just a small difference between your usual tanktop/shorts combo and the proper {un}dress for Laguna del Sol.

I'm still trying to figure out how to do this sort of thing and keep my skin HELLA away from the sun. >.< I didn't get to "29" wrinkle-free by doing nothin'.

I do the skinny-dip hot tub thing in places like South Bay Circles gatherings at Marilyn's house. After 5PM the place becomes clothing-optional, and Marilyn usually declares it "5PM" fairly early ^^.

However, the last time I actually camped clothiing-optional was at Merrymeet a few years ago, where it was so damned hot in the Central Valley that it was pretty much "no-clothing-mandatory". I went around clad in SPF50 and carrying an extra-large parasol everwhere.

NO SUN!! NO SUN!! >.

Yeah, that's one big reason I've never tried attending anything Naturist. I've already had a spot removed...

Basking in the sun is not required to enjoy a naturist event or location.

SPF 30+ is recommended for folks who have concerns.

Don't let it keep you from enjoying a Clothes Free lifestyle outdoors, if that's what you want to do.

I use SPF50, and like I said, I've already had a spot removed. I don't aim to do it again.

But I'm glad there are people out there who can enjoy it without the worries. Have fun!
