Earning Bad Parking Karma
May. 6th, 2004 11:27 pmThey park incorrectly, they pay the price.
I used to drive a very small car, very beat up car.
Lots of people park 1-2 feet over the line.
My car still fit.
I would often park right next to their car door. Sometimes with almost NO space between the cars.
I didn't care if they scratched or scraped it. *They* cared about scratching or scraping their cars though.

Date: 2004-05-07 10:53 am (UTC)As you may know, it's a small parking lot, made smaller by the inevitable spillover from Costco shoppers discouraged at ever finding parking at Costco.
There was only one spot left and some guy in a very nice car decided to take about 1/3 of it in addition to 2/3 of his own spot.
I parked anyway, popped the trunk, and crawled out the back.
My only regret is that I finished my business and was ready to go before the other guy could come back and experience the ignominy of defeat.
