Fellow Trillian users...
Feb. 6th, 2004 04:10 pmYahoo has once again mucked things up for us.
1) If you have a custom away message or any of your Yahoo Friends have a custom away message, Trillian will crash when it trys to set your's or recieves one from a friend. (Found in the support boards of http://www.trillian.cc )
Don't auto away or use one of the default away messages to avoid this crash as often. You cannot protect yourself from someone else's custom away message from crashing you though.
2) Yahoo has once again changed the default servers for Yahoo Messanger. The new ones are:
scsa.msg.yahoo.com
scsb.msg.yahoo.com
scsc.msg.yahoo.com
The old server "scs.yahoo.com" continues to work, but you can only "see" folks who are logged into that one server.

Oh, since you're a Trillian user, might you be able to help with a problem I'm having?
ICQ won't connect (http://www.trillian.cc/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=52918)

Date: 2004-02-06 06:27 pm (UTC)If it's any consolation, they didn't tell me they were changing the server names, either, and I have to monitor the damn things.

Date: 2004-02-07 04:01 pm (UTC)time, there have been people online who weren't able to "see"
me, nor I them. Now, due to Item #2, I know why.
So, thanks!!!

P.S.: Of course, it won't let me *log in* now, but I suspect
that it's fixable if I mess with my proxy settings.
