Should I change my default user icon?

I've been using "Beyondo" (the user icon on this post) for some time now on most of my posts, but tonight someone commented that it's considered "creepy" by some folks.

Consider this a poll.

What do you think of my user icon?

Should I stop using "Beyondo"?

In general, what do you think about my user icons and should I change any of them out.

well I find the two black and white ones a bit disquiting but so the hell what. they are you and I belive a good reflection of who you are. a bit odd, very creative, sweet, diffent, and not to everyones taste, but truly wonderful.

the only problem I have with "beyondo" is that it's not properly anti-aliased in with its bacground. quite similar to my "sharimaid" icon I used for this answer.

but I bet we both have better things to worry about than anti-aliasing in a 100x100 LJ user pic. :-)

I am curious about your comments page. how did you change the LJ settings to allow something other than the default display style for individual posts?

I don't have a problem with it.

The only time I've ever had a problem with an icon is the one filkerdave uses that spins. It makes me motion-sick.

Beyondo doesn't bother me, but I would like to see the Linux icon more, and the little dragons (I forget their name).

I rather like that big grin myself.. the rest of your icons are fine too, I rather like your choices - Hobbes, tiedye, and cute dragons a la Real Musgrave being some of the things I certainly like.. :-)

First of all, everyone needs to have at least one creepy icon. Second of all, this isn't yours. I like the icon you have now because it's all fun and floating. So that's my vote: keep it!

Second of all, I just found out what to do at work today (customize my comments section...looks pretty sweet man)

I happen to like the icon. I always know it's you & it has never freaked me out. You have some rather nice icons I think. Keep the icons & take care just my opinion

I vote in favor of creepy! Not that I think it is, but anything that keeps 'em on thier toes... :-)

I've always thought it was cool, much like, well, your 'cool' userpic (I'd never noticed the difference).

'scream' and 'pensive' I've always thought were kinda creepy, but hey, everyone's got a right, you know?

'tongue' - well.

The only other comment I've got is on 'hobbes' I got tired just watching that for a couple of minutes in the background.

I must admit...the floating head pic has always creeped me out a bit. And you're not a creepy person! So yeah, I vote for switching it out.

Nah. Beyondo isn't creepy. If you want it to be creepy, make it slowly float around in it's box. Then it will be creepy.

But I second the vote for more Evil Willow.
