{sigh}

I've be lethargic all day long, even going out and having a drive with the windows down didn't help (Hell, it took me nearly 2 hours get the energy up to do that).

Finally remembered, I accidentally took C's Rx's this morning. Aside the BC & Asthma meds, she's on 2x the blood pressure meds I'm on.

My BP is probably through the floor.

I did this once before and called the advice line at Kaiser and got connected to a Pharmacist. There is no danger. The BC is no problem, the asthma is long term build up type, so a single dose wont do anything, but to skip my regular BP tonight and tomorrow morning.

Ghad, I had doing stupid stuff like this.

Pizza for lunch, a bag chips and about twice the usual amount of caffenne in system.

I'm feeling ready to drag my ass home.

Should have left at 3 or 4, considering the lack of work I got done this afternoon.

wow do the carbs and caffine help?

nothing like knowing you feel like shit because of something you did. Rather like having a hangover but no night before.

Carbs didn't help. I didn't even feel the sugar spike.

Salt maybe.

Caffine, I'm enought of addict that I need megadoses to feel the boost. I need my 2-3 cans a day to keep the headaches at bay and keep the energy level at normal levels.

Or it could be 9+ hours since I took the double dose.

Going home now, then fall over.

Ugh...I've done that before. I was distracted once and instead of grabbing my vitamins I grabbed my Allegra. I had the opposite problem and my heart raced. I hope it goes away soon.

My Accidental Overdose story

I was in my early twenties, and in my chronic allergy phase (since cured with vitammins and eating LOTS of Garlic) and was used to taking Actifeds or Sudefeds, or ARMs every four hours. Well, we wer out of those, and my Mom offered me one of her Corricidan (I know I mangled the spelling on that) and that seemed to help, so I was taking those every four hours....

Well I came downstairs one afternoon after having had ANOTHER Sleepless night, more frequent than normal heart palpatations, no appetite and now my ears were ringing as well. I went to take a pill and my Mom, commented on how I had just taken one about four hours ago. I said, "Right, time to take another..." "Those are every TWELVE hours Lela," she told me. "have you been taking those every FOUR hours??" "Uh huh..."

Helps to read the damn label. Needless to say, I STOPPED taking them, and by the next night it had cleared my system, and I crashed and slept for 14 hours, then got up and pigged out.

Gotta pay attention when taking yer meds...

Stupid thing is I've done it before.

I usually keep a close eye on my meds.

Is there any way you can keep your meds separate from C's?

That might be the only way to keep from mixing things up.

They were in 2 seperate cups. I even looked them and took what I thought were mine and swallowed them, when C went "These are not my pills."

Just stupidity on my part.

Though today I did tell her to take her's first. ;)

The name for my community "Doed he take Sugar? is about the fact that often if you have a disability and you are out with a able-bodied person they will often ask the person you are with questions about you rather than asking you directly. Thanks for the interest hope to hear from you again
