I have a friend working as background actor. Now, as he would testify, while you get many cool stories to tell at parties and conventions, you don't really get much in the way of Benjamins out of it.

Said friend has just made a YouTube video as a gig for a ticket-selling company hoping to drum up business. The more hits, the more exposure he gets.

So if you have two minutes of your life to spare and want a good chuckle, click here and enjoy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRBj8Gitpbw

And if you felt it was a worthy enough chuckle to pass along, please do so, but please DON'T embed the video -- the point is for the company to get the click-throughs. Just put in a link.

If what he says about Dodger Stadium is true, I don't want to go near the place.

Me neither!

ha ha ha! That was actually pretty cute and funny. (Yes, I have a pretty whacked out sense of "cute")

Dodger Stadium is definitely no Candlestick or... wherever the heck the Giants play now and whatever it is called.

I have come to realize that all of my experiences with Dodger Stadium were either in a large enough group or a nice enough section that I've never had any problems there other than getting out of the parking lot once the game is over. Well, that and all the ketchup dispensers being broken once. (No, really, it was like every ketchup dispenser on the level was broken, though they did eventually fix them.)

Then again, I've also never tried to scalp tickets there.

On the other hand, most of those other ticket experiences, I've had.

That's funny! It's very specific to the Southern California culture, but I got most of the references.

Emperor Norton Field, more commonly known to the masses as AT&T Park (formerly SBC Park, originally Pacific Bell Park). Candlestick Park, on the other hand, was and is a mess.

Quite a shift from the guy I know from the fanzine lounge. :-)

Clicking through to the sponsor, looks like their database is not quite ready - lots of events listed, but no prices. And region sort treats all CA as one region. Nice look & feel, though, if you like pink.

Aaaaaahhhh.... I knew it had some corporate name thingy, but couldn't remember what it was. The last time I was at a baseball game was Giants vs. Dodgers in Candlestick. With my bf at the time. He was a huge Dodger fan. It was interesting. o.o

Candlestick a mess? What? You mean aside from the rain, wind, birds, fog....
