Once again the most beautiful lady in the world becomes a cradle robbing older women.*

Alas, she had to go to work and we attended Taiko class, so there wasn't much actual birthday celebrating, but it was a fun day.

Birthdays are not our big gift holidays, so she received a (requested) useful item from me and promissory note for a print from a friend.

*We were born the same year, but 11 days apart.

*cough* if 11 days is cradle robbing then, uhm.... I don't want to know what I've done ;)

*hugs* for you two, who act like newlyweds all the time :)

AH -- I found it - her birthday is the 18th.

NOW, if her birthday were the 19th I would say

Ahoy me hearties all ye scurvy dogs be wishing herself a happy day

BUT since her birthday is the 18th, I won't say that. BUT since I am writing to you on the 19th I'll say

Blimey How'd a scallywag like ye find such a fine wench? Were you touched by his noodly appendage?

I love to see how different couples celebrate their partner's bdays. Josh and I take each other out for a very nice (and almost always expensive dinner) for bdays, except the one year his birthday was the night before my BA thesis was due... I bought him a cake to eat while I polished stuff up... Happy bday!

Many Happy Returns, and a very happy unbirthday to you as well. May you drum together with joy always.

We swap who gets the fancy dinner and who gets the dinner out with friends.

This year is unusal in that we crammed our schedule full and don't really have a hole that we can do a fancy dinner.
