Booksellers (and investors in Scholastic and Bloomsbury) will be
pleased to learn that J.K. Rowling says that among the "indescribable
mess" in her Edinburgh office, there is a "little oasis," she says,
where the manuscript of the fifth Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and
the Order of the Phoenix, is stacked, "nice, neat, pristine and big."
She indicates
that it's as long as The Goblet of Fire, which was 636
pages, according to the Times of London.

Rowling, who also announced she is four months pregnant, indicates she
may deliver the manuscript sometime soon. Should this prove to be the
case, the publication would likely come sometime in the first year of
the life of her new child and may limit her willingness to tour or
publicize the new book.

Your pirate name is:

Mad John Kidd

Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!

What's your pirate name?
