I caught up with Connie at ConJosé and asked what she thought of her new title.

"What title?"

"Frightener of Folk Singers."

"What?" {insert Connie's patented surprised look}

"Janis Ian was to scared to talk to you at Philly."

{insert Connie's flabbergasted look} "Who would be afraid of me."

At which point another Pro came up and said: "We're all afraid of you Connie."

Still looking shocked she wandered off with the other Pro, who was starting to explain the whole story.

I never did follow-up with Connie to see if she met Janice.
